Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification to practice in school settings
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective plans for student development and learning
- Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with faculty and staff to promote positive behavior and mental health practices schoolwide
- Maintain comprehensive records and ensure all documentation complies with district and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
