Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and current state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification to work in a school setting
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Skilled in the administration and interpretation of psychological assessments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing academic and behavioral interventions
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Commitment to collaboration with educators, families, and other service providers
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels
- Develop individualized educational and behavioral plans in partnership with IEP teams
- Counsel students individually or in small groups to provide social-emotional and academic support
- Offer crisis intervention and participate in prevention programs
- Provide guidance and consultation to staff and families on student needs, interventions, and accommodations
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with State and District guidelines
- Contribute to a positive school climate by supporting initiatives and programs that foster student well-being
