Your assignment will run from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and follows a 37.5-hour workweek aligned with the school schedule. You'll work across schools, where caseloads for special education students with IEPs average around 40 per site. Since the role centers around indirect services, you’ll be collaborating with teams, consulting, and providing guidance rather than delivering therapy or direct student services.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Background in supporting elementary-aged students
  • Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and assessment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to consult and offer indirect services effectively with educators and families
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on student needs and services
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement educational strategies
  • Consult on assessments and interventions, focusing on the progress and well-being of students
  • Provide recommendations and support for positive learning environments
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of interventions
  • Support compliance and best practices regarding special education protocols
