With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll serve as a cornerstone in fostering a positive, supportive environment—without direct instructional or counseling services to students. This assignment begins July 27, 2026, and concludes May 21, 2027, providing a structured, full-year experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven background working with elementary-aged learners, particularly those requiring special education support
- Strong understanding of special education processes and procedures
- Familiarity with the creation and interpretation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent skills in collaboration, communication, assessment, and consultation
- Ability to manage time effectively within multiple school settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments as part of child-study and IEP teams
- Consult regularly with educators, parents, and support staff to interpret assessment findings and recommend interventions
- Participate in special education eligibility meetings, providing professional insights for effective educational planning
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards in all records and recommendations
