Desired Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or license (state requirements met or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher in school psychology or a closely related field
- Experience in elementary school settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and IEP development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with IEPs at each school
- Collaborate with special education and general education teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide input on IEP development and student progress monitoring
- Offer consultation to staff and families regarding student needs and interventions
- Ensure documentation remains accurate and compliant with regulations
