As part of your daily routine, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student success and well-being. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 32.5 hours per week, this position offers valuable stability while working with a dynamic age group.
Qualifications:
- Valid RIDE certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Proven experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to adapt services to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Interpret assessment data for educational planning
- Develop and participate in IEP meetings
- Counsel students individually and in groups to address behavioral, academic, and social needs
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop effective behavioral and instructional strategies
- Maintain thorough, confidential records and documentation
