To excel in this role, you should have:
- Current RIDE certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Experience working with middle school-aged children, preferably within an educational setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with special education processes, assessments, and IEPs
- Ability to develop and implement data-driven interventions

In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will:
- Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive psychological services to middle school students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
- Support crisis intervention efforts and promote positive behavior support
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
