Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist Certification (fully approved or temporary)
- Strong understanding of MARSE and IDEA guidelines
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting a range of assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to collaboration and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Administer and interpret psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments to support student learning
- Determine student eligibility for special education services and provide actionable, research-based recommendations
- Prepare clear, accurate, and compliant evaluation reports within required timelines
- Support the implementation of MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) and PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports)
- Use data-driven methods to assist in shaping IEP goals, accommodations, and individualized behavior support plans
- Deliver direct psychological services as needed to students, ensuring access and equity for every learner
