What You Bring:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (fully approved or temporary)
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong knowledge of MARSE and IDEA regulations
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports)
- Skill in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering equitable, inclusive educational practices
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments in alignment with state and federal requirements
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests to assess student needs and strengths
- Determine student eligibility for services and provide actionable recommendations
- Prepare detailed, compliant evaluation reports and deliver them promptly
- Support school teams in MTSS, PBIS, and data-informed decision-making processes
- Collaborate in the development of IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior support plans
- Offer effective school psychological services to students requiring additional support
