Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Illinois (IL) School Psychologist license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience supporting students in K-5th grades preferred
- Strong understanding of developmental, learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities
- Comfort with administering assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Committed to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on student progress and intervention strategies
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Deliver counseling, skill-building, and behavioral support services as needed
- Advocate for a positive, inclusive learning environment
