Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois School Psychologist license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience working with elementary-age children is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, MTSS/RTI processes, and best practices in intervention planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological, behavioral, and academic evaluations for K-5th grade students
- Interpret assessment data and present clear, practical recommendations to staff and families
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed
- Serve as an active member of the Student Support Teams, contributing to planning and decision-making
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster a positive educational experience for all students
