Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid (or eligibility for) School Psychologist state certification
- Experience providing diagnostic and consultative services for preK-12 students
- Strong foundation in assessment, counseling, and development of IEPs and behavioral interventions
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams of educators and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school climate
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to guide support plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling for students in need of social, emotional, or behavioral support
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive educational outcomes
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulations and best practices
