Located in a vibrant community near Lexington, SC, this full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to work closely with students, educators, and families to make a positive impact on educational outcomes and emotional well-being.
What We're Looking For:
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist license or certification (or eligibility) for the state
- Proven experience performing evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing direct student services
- Strong understanding of best practices in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent skills in collaboration with teachers, administration, and families
- Effective communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Deliver counseling, consultation, and intervention services as required
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development through direct services and prevention programs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies that promote student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment
