Exciting contract opportunity for a School Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across multiple sites within close proximity. This full-time position offers the chance to work Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week, engaging with K-12 learners across various grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Vermont (VT) School Psychologist license required
- Previous professional experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting
- Expertise in identifying and supporting students with learning disabilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to efficiently coordinate across multiple school sites (all within a 0.5 mile radius)
- Comfortable and reliable working onsite five days a week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, totaling 50-60 assessments per year
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and recommendations
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility and appropriate services for students
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling and consultation services as needed
- Maintain detailed records and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive educational environment
