An opening is available to serve multiple schools in a highly collaborative educational environment—either onsite, in a hybrid format, or fully remote. This role is ideal for licensed professionals passionate about assessment and direct support, and who enjoy working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado School Psychologist License (CDE required)
- Previous experience in psychoeducational assessment and student services within school settings
- Familiarity with the evaluation and reevaluation process for special education eligibility
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple cases (reevaluation caseloads: up to 70 per year for VOCO; 45 per year for onsite/hybrid)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation abilities
- Adaptability to virtual platforms (VOCO) and/or in-person engagement as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and reevaluations for students across multiple schools to support educational planning
- Deliver direct student services, including counseling and consultation, if working onsite or in a hybrid capacity
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely records aligned with state and district compliance requirements
- Utilize digital tools efficiently for remote assessment and communication, as applicable
