Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Completion of an accredited school psychology graduate program
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to design and monitor intervention plans
- Offer consultation and support to staff and families regarding behavioral, academic, and social challenges
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert guidance on goal development
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with school and legal requirements
