Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with psychological assessments, student counseling, and data-driven interventions
- Strong knowledge of special education eligibility, IEP processes, and behavior management
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student success
- Collaborate with educators to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
- Participate in the development of IEPs and serve as a resource regarding special education services
- Consult with families about strategies to enhance students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Assist in crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote positive behavior and mental wellness
