This onsite opportunity, beginning in August 2026, offers full-time hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. As a School Psychologist, your work will span across 12 unique school sites in an itinerant capacity, allowing you to make a meaningful impact throughout the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Current NY School Psychologist license (required)
- Background in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention with students
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between multiple sites within the district
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide direct psychological services to diverse student populations
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavior management strategies as needed
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development relevant to school psychology practices
