Available assignments include:
- A position rotating between two sites within a K-8 district, offering a dynamic work environment and variety in day-to-day responsibilities.
- An elementary school district role with a focus on traditional crisis management, collaborating in meetings, consulting with staff, and delivering direct support to students.
- A comprehensive pre-K through 12th grade assignment, engaging all age groups and providing psychological services across multiple levels.
Qualifications and valuable experience include:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Illinois
- Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Demonstrated skills in student assessment, counseling, and report writing
- Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility to travel between sites if required
- Comfort working in-person, remote, or hybrid formats
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
- Developing and implementing intervention plans
- Attending and participating in IEP and intervention meetings
- Providing crisis support and counseling as needed
- Consulting with educators and administrators to support student success
