- Solid understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and applicable federal and state educational regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to start promptly and adapt quickly to new environments
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interpret test results to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop effective, individualized education plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in team meetings, including multidisciplinary and eligibility determination sessions
- Engage in consultation and training with school personnel to address academic and emotional challenges
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and evaluation records
