Key qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility for Nebraska licensure)
- Experience administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Strong knowledge of best practices in behavioral interventions and counseling for elementary students
- Exceptional ability to develop IEPs and support special education processes
- Positive communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting students’ emotional, social, and behavioral needs within a school setting
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for elementary-age students
- Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Design and implement intervention and prevention strategies to support positive student outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs and promote healthy school climate
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with school and district policies
