Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist

  • Familiarity with Child Find evaluations and processes
  • Experience delivering counseling and support services to preschool-aged children
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Child Find evaluations to support early identification and intervention efforts
  • Provide counseling support to pre-K students, fostering social-emotional skill development
  • Collaborate with early childhood teams to develop and implement effective strategies and plans for students’ needs
  • Consult with families to communicate findings, develop goals, and promote positive outcomes for students
  • Document assessments, interventions, and counseling in accordance with school and compliance guidelines
  • Serve as a resource for teachers regarding students’ mental health and behavioral needs
