- Ability to provide counseling specifically tailored for young children
- Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret assessments as part of Child Find for preschool-aged students
- Provide counseling and psychological support for pre-K children with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers to develop intervention strategies
- Offer consultation and training to school staff supporting early learners
- Maintain accurate records, adhering to best practices and legal compliance
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for young students
