Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current and valid certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
- Strong communication and consultation skills for partnering with educators, parents, and administrators
- Ability to provide counseling services and crisis interventions as needed
- Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for diverse student populations
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, interpreting and reporting assessment results
- Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, plan, and monitor student progress and interventions
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other student support strategies
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral interventions to support students’ academic, emotional, and social success
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective classroom interventions and strategies
- Help design and implement positive behavioral supports and prevention programs within the school system
