Desired Qualifications:
- Current state certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to professional ethics
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support student learning
- Deliver counseling services, develop intervention plans, and assist with crisis management
- Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other support staff to ensure student needs are met
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and documentation as necessary
- Support students with behavioral or academic challenges, tailoring strategies to individual strengths
- Engage families in conversations about their child’s progress and well-being
- Adhere to all confidentiality, state, and federal guidelines governing school psychological services
