A public school district in Monroe County, Michigan is actively hiring several School Psychologists for the 2026–2027 academic year. This opportunity supports multiple school sites across the district and is structured as a full-time, onsite-only role.

Role Focus
This position centers around supporting students across K–12 grade levels through evaluation services, collaboration, and special education processes. Psychologists will rotate between assigned campuses based on district needs.
Daily Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
Participate in IEP team meetings and eligibility determinations
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and student services teams
Provide insight into academic, behavioral, and emotional supports
Maintain accurate records aligned with IDEA and Michigan guidelines
Travel between assigned district locations as needed
What You’ll Need
Active Michigan School Psychologist certification (required)
Ability to pass credential verification via the Michigan DOE system
School-based experience preferred, particularly across multiple grade levels
Strong communication skills for working with families and multidisciplinary teams
Flexibility to travel between various school sites within the district

Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Dates: August 12, 2026 – June 2, 2027

Pay & Travel Incentives
Standard rate: $105–$115/hour
Travel assignments: up to $120/hour available
