Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join a supportive school team in New Castle, Delaware for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position will support a high school caseload, providing psychological services that promote students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative, student-focused, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary educational team. While onsite work is preferred, there may be some flexibility for a hybrid schedule based on school and student needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments.
Evaluate students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies based on assessment results.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student goals and services.
Provide individual and/or group counseling and behavioral support as appropriate.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, families, and related service providers.
Monitor student progress and make recommendations based on data and ongoing evaluation.
Assist with identifying appropriate interventions and supports for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district procedures.
Support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
Perform other duties related to the role as assigned.
