Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the proper School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working with PreK-8th grade populations within a school setting
- Prefer candidates with established professional background; not open to new graduates at this time
- Demonstrates strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Skilled in collaboration with educators, support staff, and families to foster student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized plans addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administration, and families to promote positive learning environments
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
- Facilitate and attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as required
- Split caseload management with a fellow psychologist, supporting a dynamic and shared approach
