Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Washington State
- Background in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments in school settings
- Proficiency with IEP processes and special education eligibility requirements
- Strong report-writing and case documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Prior experience in a hybrid or remote environment is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychoeducational assessments and observations as required
- Develop and interpret individualized educational and behavioral recommendations
- Participate in special education meetings, with potential to attend virtually for IEPs and team collaboration
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comprehensive reports within specified timelines
- Contribute to problem-solving, pre-referral intervention processes, and collaborative team decision-making
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50-$65, with the added convenience of a partially remote schedule and the chance to work during the academic year.
