Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification required
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and implementing interventions for a range of student needs
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering a positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and report findings to educational teams and families
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and support plans for students
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Provide consultation to educators and staff regarding student academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Assist in the development of a supportive school climate promoting mental health and resilience
This is an onsite-only role (no remote work options) with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year. You will work alongside a dedicated educational team in a welcoming environment, supporting students’ success at every step.
