Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist license (OR PSYCH license) required
- Experience working with children from birth to age five strongly preferred
- Skilled in evaluation, intervention, and consultation within a school setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with families, colleagues, and administrators
- Adaptable and organized with excellent time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students birth – 5 years
- Develop and help implement intervention strategies for early childhood populations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals on behavioral, emotional, and learning needs
- Support and participate in IEP/IFSP meetings, documenting findings and recommendations
- Assist with crisis intervention and support as needed
- Promote positive mental health and social-emotional learning for pre-kindergarten ages
- Serve as a resource for staff on best practices in early childhood psychopathology and development
