Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure.
- Previous experience in early childhood settings (birth–5 years preferred).
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, specialists, and families.
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities.
- Familiarity with IDEA and early intervention processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to determine developmental needs.
- Collaborate with families and school teams to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and ongoing support as needed.
- Offer training and guidance for parents, teachers, and support staff.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to program development.
