ProCare Therapy is seeking two dedicated School Psychologists to join the Scranton School District for the 2026-2027 school year. These are full-time, onsite opportunities supporting students at either the elementary or secondary level. Position Details
- Location: Scranton, PA
- School District: Scranton School District
- School Year: August 26, 2026 – June 7, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Setting: Onsite
- Openings: 2
- One Elementary School Psychologist
- One Secondary School Psychologist (Grades 5-12)
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Pennsylvania and federal special education regulations
- Provide consultation regarding student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Educational Specialist certification in School Psychology
- Master's, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances before the start of the assignment
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience (typically $48-$62 per hour) and if you are temporarily relocating to the area

Travel Opportunities
Travel candidates are encouraged to apply! Qualified travelers may be eligible for temporary relocation opportunities that include tax-free housing and meal stipends (when eligible) to help offset the cost of living while on assignment.
Please note: This position requires onsite services. A virtual or hybrid option is not available due to district supervision requirements.
