Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational community near South Burlington, VT. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) offers the chance to positively impact students across multiple K-12 sites, all conveniently situated within half a mile of each other.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in Vermont
- Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify learning disabilities
- Familiarity with the unique needs of K-12 students in diverse educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite five days a week across multiple local school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct 50-60 psychoeducational evaluations annually to help identify learning disabilities and provide actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student development and success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each evaluation and student interaction
- Engage in meetings and team consultations as needed to discuss student progress and needs
- Travel between multiple nearby school sites within a short radius for scheduled assessments and consultations
