Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain credentials.
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Solid understanding of psychological assessments, IEP development, and multi-disciplinary team processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, students, and families.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous documentation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct psychological services to students, including counseling and intervention support.
- Administer comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs, learning differences, and behavioral challenges.
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and detailed progress reports.
- Participate actively in team meetings, offering insights and recommendations as a key member of the student support network.
- Serve as a consultant to educators and parents, providing expertise on strategies for supporting student success.
- Maintain organized records in compliance with all school and district guidelines.
