In this full-time, onsite role (35 hours/week, Monday through Friday), you'll make a genuine impact across multiple schools, directly collaborating with special education students and general education environments from early childhood through high school. Essential Qualifications:
- Current CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
- Minimum of 3 years of recent school-based experience as a School Psychologist
- Master's, Specialist’s, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Demonstrated expertise in student assessments and interpreting data
- Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm and composed during crisis management situations
- Proficiency in computer technology platforms
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, students, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver group and individual counseling in line with IEP mental health goals
- Develop interventions addressing academic, social/emotional, and behavioral needs
- Document services through progress monitoring/reporting and service logs
- Conduct suicide risk and threat assessments; assist with crisis response
- Complete comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive assessments
- Write evaluation reports and develop IEP goals and impact statements
- Lead and collaborate in IEP, MTSS, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer psychoeducation, professional development, and community resource coordination
- Provide behavioral and academic consultation for both special education and general education students
