In this dynamic role, you'll provide direct mental health services to students from early childhood through high school, support crisis intervention, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of previous school-based psychologist experience
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
- Strong assessment, crisis management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in technology and data-driven practices
- Ability to thrive within diverse school communities
Responsibilities
- Deliver group and individual counseling per IEP service goals
- Design interventions to address students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Provide mental health support within general education settings
- Conduct suicide and threat assessments, support crisis teams
- Complete multifaceted IEP assessments and develop intervention plans
- Lead collaborative meetings and participate in professional development
- Consult with families, staff, and outside agencies
- Coordinate community resources and provide mental health services for 504 plans
