This assignment places you at Meridian Academy, a dedicated program for students in grades 6-12 who require intensive behavioral and social-emotional support. You’ll join a closely knit staff in providing meaningful services to students with complex needs, directly impacting their success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active CO DOE SSP License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsement
- Experience supporting middle and high school students with significant behavioral or emotional needs (day treatment, facility placements)
- Expertise in IEP evaluations, meetings, and ongoing development
- Ability to start promptly and complete district background/fingerprint requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized mental health services per students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with staff to implement effective behavioral and social-emotional support strategies
- Manage IEP processes, including evaluations, meetings, and documentation
- Work with a caseload of approximately 23-30 students, grades 6-12
