This full-time contract opportunity spans August 2026 through June 2027, with a schedule of 32 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. As the districtwide School Psychologist (1 FTE), you'll make a profound impact by providing direct services, consultation, and support throughout the school community.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive psychological services including assessment, intervention, and counseling for K-12 students.
- Conducting evaluations, interpreting results, and developing recommendations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, families, and administrators to support student needs across several sites.
- Offering crisis intervention and supporting behavioral management plans.
- Leading or participating in professional development, parent meetings, and data-driven decision making.
- Maintaining thorough records and documenting progress in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification in CT).
- Master’s or higher in School Psychology.
- Experience working across K-12 in a school setting preferred.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
