Your commitment will span full-time hours, Monday through Friday, totaling 32-37.5 hours per week. This in-person role offers a unique opportunity to support a diverse student population and provide valuable psychological services across various campuses.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license (in accordance with Connecticut state requirements)
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and MTSS/RTI processes
- Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
- Adaptability to work across multiple schools and manage a districtwide caseload
- Availability for the full contract duration: August 2026 through June 2027

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Offer counseling and direct support services to students individually and in groups
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student mental health, behavior, and academic interventions
- Collaborate on IEP and Section 504 teams and provide behavioral consultation
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with school and state protocols
- Support crisis intervention as needed
