Step into a vital role serving K-12 students across multiple sites as a dedicated School Psychologist on a full-time contract for the 2026-2027 academic year. This in-person position runs from August 2026 through June 2027. Your expertise will support diverse student populations within a districtwide caseload, making a meaningful difference for learners from early childhood through high school. Based near West Hartford, with work throughout nearby locations including Winsted, you’ll engage with a variety of teams and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (in Connecticut or eligible for CT certification)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with K-12 students, including those with varying learning abilities and backgrounds
- Familiarity with assessment, counseling, intervention, and consultation in an educational setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with teachers, administrators, families, and other specialists
- Ability to manage a districtwide caseload and travel between school sites as needed
- Commitment to providing all services in person
Your role will involve:
- Providing direct and consultative support to students, staff, and families K-12
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to guide interventions and eligibility determinations
- Participating in IEP/504 meetings and progress monitoring for students with special needs
- Delivering individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention programming
- Collaborating with educational teams across multiple school sites
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
