Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid North Carolina School Psychologist license – required
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in an educational setting across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
- Strong aptitude for conducting assessments and evaluations with diverse K-12 student populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12, addressing a range of academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Interpret evaluation results and provide clear, actionable reports to school teams and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor student support plans
- Offer consultation to teachers and staff to promote student engagement and success
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
- Uphold ethical standards and promote best practices in services delivered
