Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
- Prior experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Familiarity with conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments for students across K-12
- Interpret evaluation results and develop recommendations to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Contribute to the development of IEPs and participate in eligibility meetings
- Support school staff in promoting positive behavioral and mental health outcomes
