Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in North Carolina
- Experience with K-12 student populations, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEPs, MTSS, and educational best practices
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and interpret assessment results to help create effective support plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to guide instructional and behavioral interventions
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and other student support processes
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Support social-emotional learning initiatives and promote a positive school climate
