Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina School Psychologist license required
- Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings (K-12)
- Competency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Ability to support diverse learners and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and report-writing skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students across K-12
- Interpret assessment results and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to develop support strategies and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and eligibility determinations
- Contribute to crisis intervention and behavior management planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable regulations and policies
- Promote positive school climates through training and consultation
