Key Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina is required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Skilled in conducting evaluations and assessments across age groups
- Effective communicator—able to share insights clearly with educators, parents, and other team members
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Provide consultative recommendations to school teams for interventions and supports
- Prepare and interpret assessment reports to guide individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate collaboration among educators, families, and related service providers
- Support social, emotional, and academic development for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
