Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina (NC) School Psychologist license required
- Experience with evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
- Certified for work in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for K-12 caseload
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for interventions and supports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and family members
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Offer counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines
