School Psychologist - Des Plaines, IL

Required Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology
- Certified or eligible for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with Pre K-5 age groups
- Proficiency in conducting and managing paperwork for initial and re-evaluation IEP assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to balance assessment, report writing, and occasional direct student support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete all initial evaluations and re-evaluations, including comprehensive testing and documentation for IEPs
- Collaborate regularly with the student support team in academic and behavioral problem-solving meetings
- Provide direct support to students when possible, based on scheduling availability
