Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hawaii School Psychologist license is required
- Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably in a K-12 environment
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and recommend interventions
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students and provide written reports
- Develop and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams with assessments and recommendations
- Collaborate with school personnel to foster a positive learning environment
- Offer counseling to students, providing crisis intervention when needed
- Communicate findings and plans with educators, parents, and allied professionals
