Qualifications:
- Current Hawaii School Psychologist license required
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting inclusive and positive school climates
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for individualized education program (IEP) development
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrative staff on student needs and behavioral interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with the creation and implementation of IEPs
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
